At the core of the System's Surveillance Cameras is a 400 MHz processor and high-resolution video sensor. Combined with our powerful application software program, these cameras do amazing things:

How Does It Work?

Simply place the camera(s) in the rooms to be monitored, connecting each by ethernet cable to a power supply that plugs into the wall.

That's the beauty of powerline technology: The cameras communicate with the receiver through the wiring in your house. A very small "receiver" also plugs into an AC power receptacle near your PC and is then connected via USB cable to your Windows PC. Up to 6 cameras can operate simultaneously from this one receiver! The video signal is securely transmitted from the surveillance camera to the receiver through your power lines and then recorded on the Hard Disk Drive of your PC, eliminating troublesome interference from other Radio Frequency sources and keeping your video totally private.

After the “Command Center” Software is installed, and the cameras placed and plugged into nearby outlets, the cameras immediately start transmitting the video over the existing electrical wiring to your PC. There is no need to run any additional cables or wires. You don’t even need to purchase or configure any wireless routers.

This powerful, easy to use software is included in the master kit. This Windows application provides for watching live action, searching the recorded video archive, and setting options such as easy set-up for motion-activated, continuous, or time scheduled recordings:

This software allows you to determine how much space to allocate for video storage and automatically manages the disk space by replacing the oldest video with new recordings. By default, the software is set to record only ‘motion’ events and store months of video on as little as 20 GB of your PC's hard drive.

You can view all 6 cameras on a single screen or cycle through the views. The video is delivered at a maximum 15 frames per second, (30 frames per second is considered TV quality). You can adjust the resolution of the camera via the software and can even search recorded segments (for each camera) by date and time. For legal reasons, audio cannot be recorded.

The video playback controls allow you to play, pause, step forward & back, and adjust playback speed between super slow and very fast. Playback shows video from all cameras in parallel.

A step-by-step installation guide in the software provides easy to follow directions and makes set-up a snap. The Master Starter Kit includes all the components for a complete single-camera system.

To view the video via the internet, create a free account at a designated free WiLife website, from where several sites may be registered: home, business second home, or even the home of aging parents. With remote viewing, you have anywhere anytime access to live video, not only from internet browsers but also compatible cell phones.
