Frequently Asked Questions

How do you ship your products?

All products are shipped via UPS with a flat fee of $10 per order.

What is your return policy?

We do not accept returns.

What kind of wood do you use?

Most of the wood is pine, oak or poplar. Once in a while I use tree limbs of any kind of tree or small trees that have been cut and dried, such as elm.

What is shaker tape?

A cloth like fabric in strips of 1" or 5/8"

What is caning?

A reed type material that can be woven on chairs or stools. That product is normally light in color, different sizes, and will form its own patina after long term usage on the chairs and stools it is woven on. Or the sun will help turn the patina " meaning the color" .  The reed cane can be colored to various shades, such as dark brown or light browns.  That is created by using different shades of stain.

What is a honeycomb weave?

Honeycome weaves are woven in and around holes, on the edge of the seat to form a very strong, comfortable seat. Often seen on some of the old chairs that our Grandparents had.

What is a fiber rush weave?

A round, brown, thick, and heavy paper type material wrapped tightly in a roll that can then be woven on the seats. This creates very strong comfortable seating, and gives the chairs a unique look. Often used in kitchen table chairs.
