DOC/U10 and U11 AA Boys Coach- Mike Anderson

Coach Mike Anderson is the Director of Coaching for the UC Strikers Club. Until 2007 he was the Head Boys Soccer Coach at Timpview High School for 10 years. Coach Anderson is an assistant coach within the ODP program(Olympic Development Program). He currently helps as an assistant with the U14 Boys State Team. He holds a USSF "B" National Coaching License. Coach Anderson started playing soccer in Bolivia. He played AA and AAA since age 8. He played soccer at Timpview High School, and then played for the Utah Select team in the Disney Cup Tournament in California during the 1994 World-Cup. He played for UVSC then started coaching high school and Strikers at age 21.

Girls DOC/U17 AAA Girls Coach - Rachelle Dixon

Rachelle Dixon comes to UC Strikers with impressive playing and coaching credentials. She is currently the assistant womens soccer coach at Utah Valley University. Dixon just finished her collegiate playing career at Utah State where she played in 17 games, starting 16. She originally started her collegiate career at BYU where she competed for the Cougars from 1999-2001 and 2004. During that stretch the Cougars advanced to the round of 32 twice and the Sweet 16 once. In 2004 she competed in Italy against Italy's Under-19 women's national team and in 2001 she played against the South Africa's women's national team. She has also competed in international competition in England and France. Before college, Dixon played for her club team Devastation which won regionals and advanced to nationals in November of 1999. She currently holds a United States Soccer Federation C coaching license and a NSCAA Goal keeping license. Dixon has been asked to be on the state ODP coaching staff. In her final year at Utah State she did a coaching internship with the Aggie coaching staff which also included individual training with goal keepers. Dixon served an LDS mission to Johannesburg, South Africa from June of 2002 to December 2003. She graduated from BYU in 2006 with a degree in Health Education. When Dixon is not coaching she enjoys snowboarding, biking, rock climbing and competing in various other sporting activities. Dixon is a native of Bountiful, Utah. She graduated in 1999 from Bountiful High School where she earned All-State honors in soccer and basketball.

Club Goalkeeper Trainer - Brandon Gilliam

Brandon Gilliam has been playing soccer for the past 18 years. He has spent the majority of those years playing in the top ranked Dallas Classic league. During club he played with and against nationally ranked players. He now plays for the BYU Cougars as a semi-professional player in the PDL. Brandon has been taking goalkeeper training since he was 10, and has been training keepers for the past five years. Technique and skill are at the top of his list as personal attributes he works hard to accomplish. His desire is to take the next generation into the new world of soccer.
