Dresses by Bumba Bella

About our company's name

Smocked dresses are also called 'honeycomb' dresses in Spanish. The bee is industrious and builds honeycombs. Among the largest, most noticeable and most beautiful bees are the family of bees known as the 'bumble bee'. In searching for a 'different' name, one that symbolized our joy at working to make beautiful dresses, it seemed that 'Bumba Bella' would "bee" a good name.

Scholorships helping children performing arts and sports.

Scholarships for the performing arts and sports — this year, Bumba Bella granted two (2) scholarships for two (2) young people — desperate to influence the world with their amazing talents but without the financial means to do so. One (1) Scholarship has been granted to pay for guitar lessons, the second one for swimming lessons. Fortunately, with the support of Bumba Bella these two (2) young people from minority and economically disadvantaged background are allowed not only to realize their artistic and sports dreams, but also to give back to their communities. Bumba Bella may provide many more exciting beginnings and happy endings — for talented and deserving students of music and sports.
