Divine Love and Healing: Aligning with Receptivity

by Deb Schnitta

Within each cell is the template of the Divine. When we achieve expanded states of consciousness, we access this light. A brief connection here provides access to profound peace. It also opens our minds to the possibility that more exists than what it had recognized but a moment ago.

The receptive nature recognizes that the mind is not the end of the creative process. Simply stated, the mind has a role in intention and manifestation, but it is not what makes something occur. To make something happen is an act of the ego. To invite the largeness of the universe to intercede allows the larger flows of consciousness that exist beyond the mind to be present in the act of creation and manifestation.

As the originator of Cellular Expansion and HealingTM, I have had the honor of witnessing this principle so often that I trust its existence in my life. Through witnessing the miracles and changes that occur with ease and consistency my mind has developed an orientation where it actively seeks what exists outside its current place of orientation.

As a result, I have witnessed genetic disease that I did not understand as a mind resolve and heal. I have also witnessed the resolution of deeply held trauma of the personality as it seeks to find its way in the world as a conscious partner for its Soul. Both are equally miraculous to my mind. Deeply held patterns of consciousness stored in the density of matter and cells transforms to a higher frequency and the matter changes.

What had once been surprising and shocking to my mind is now expected and greeted with a murmur of 'of course.' This does not mean that my mind believes it is what has made something occur. Rather it has recognized and is respectful of the larger flows of receptivity that are consistent in the energy of Cellular Expansion and Healing. My mind has seen its participation for what it is, one cog in an intricate wheel of creation and choice.

One of the most commonly asked questions about CE is how is it different from other modalities? CE deals with the consciousness of the root cause of any imbalance, whether it is physical illness or an inability to move forward with a life project. Because of the receptive energy of CE, it does not push or try to make anything happen, but rather invites the consciousness to step forward. A deep place of trust emerges from the cells themselves, recognizing the sea of balance that is offered. Because of this the results are often deeply transformative and life changing.

The receptive nature of Cellular Expansion and Healing supports the practitioner to reach new levels of surrender each time he or she chooses to engage. It does not try to make a certain outcome occur, but rather respects the larger role of consciousness in the current situation. The receptive nature of CE also supports the deepening of connection to the Divine, for both client and practitioner. The combination of conscious intention coupled with access to the Divine yields the greatest impact and change. Cells held here are able to be nourished in deep ways and return to balance with ease.

Science is beginning to be able to demonstrate these foundational principles of Cellular Expansion and Healing. As new technology has emerged, capturing the impact of intention is now possible.

Healer Leonard Laskow was recruited by American biologist Glen Rein to test the most effective healing strategy for inhibiting the growth of cancer cells. Rein prepared five different Petri dishes containing identical numbers of cancer cells and then asked Laskow to send out a different intention while holding each one.

The requested intentions were:

  1. The natural order be reinstated and the cells’ growth rate return to normal.
  2. A Taoist visualization that entails imagining that only three of the cancer cells remained in the Petri dish.
  3. No intention, but simply to ask God to have His will flow through Laskow's hands
  4. He offers unconditional love to the cancer cells, which involved meditating on a state of love and compassion.

And five, Laskow carried out his only truly destructive intention, by visualizing the cells dematerializing, either going into the light or the 'void.'

As a yardstick of Laskow’s effectiveness, Rein would measure the amount of radioactive thymidine absorbed by the cancer cells, an indicator of the growth rate of malignant cells.

Among Laskow’s various intentions the most powerful were undirected intentions asking the cells to return to the natural order, which inhibited the cancer cells’ growth by 39 per cent.

Acquiescing to God’s will with no specific request was about half as effective, inhibiting the cells by 21 per cent, as was the Taoist visualization. An unconditional acceptance of the way things were had no effect either way, nor did imagining the cells dematerializing. In these two instances, the problem may have been that the thought was simply not focused enough.

In a follow-up study, Rein found the strongest effect of all occurred when Laskow combined two approaches, mixing an intention to return to the natural order while imagining only three cells left; his rate of cell inhibition doubled, to 40 per cent.

Clearly, the combination of asking the universe to restore order while imagining a specific outcome (intention) exerted a powerful effect.

Finally, Rein instructed Laskow to hold each of his five states of mind in turn while grasping one of five vials of water, which would later be used to make up the tissue-culture medium of the cancer cells.

The water treated with the ‘natural-order’ intention again had the greatest effect, inhibiting the growth of the cancer cells by 28 per cent.

In this case, water apparently ‘stored’ and transferred the intentions to the culture medium and onto the cancer cells.

Laskow’s approach is instructive. The most effective healing intention is framed as a request, combined with a highly specific visualization of the outcome, but not necessarily a destructive one.

This scientist has illustrated the very nature of Cellular Expansion and HealingTM. Rather than the destruction of the source of illness, the greatest impact is through the doorway of intention, to step aside and devoid of attachment to outcome, invite a greater intelligence to restore order.

Personality plus Source yields the greatest change.
