Habitat for Humanity is a global home-building movement comprising more than 2,300 local affiliates, state support organizations and national organizations in nearly 100 countries. Completing a home somewhere in the world every 24 minutes, Habitat builds nearly 25,000 homes per year.

United Way

United Way’s mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities. More than 1,300 local United Ways raise and invest significant resources to build strong, healthy communities. In 2005-06, the United Way system raised $3.98 billion in current year support (an increase of 2.9% over 2004-2005), making it the nation’s largest private charity.

American Lung Association

The American Lung Association® is the oldest voluntary health organization in the United States, with a National Office and constituent and affiliate associations around the country. Founded in 1904 to fight tuberculosis, the American Lung Association® today fights lung disease in all its forms, with special emphasis on asthma, tobacco control and environmental health.

The Utah Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation was started by parents of children with Cystic Fibrosis. The Foundation is dedicated to helping find a cure through increased research funding. It also focuses on improved awareness through its public relations efforts.
