The teas we sell as organic have been monitored and certified by the following organizations: IMO(Switzerland), USDA, ECOCERT SA (South Africa). However, all of our other teas are grown in an organic way with EU Food Regulations concerning pesticide residuel limits.

CREDIT

All initial orders placed with Special Teas Inc. will be prepaid with credit card or business cheque. Customers who wish to establish an account must fill out a credit application. Special Teas reserves the right to refuse, cancel or limit credit to any customer. Special Teas also reserves the right to refuse any order or return.

Credit terms and limits are based on your company’s credit history.

Special Tea’s sales terms are net 30 days from the date of shipping. Terms will commence only upon receipt and approval of a completed Special Teas credit application. It usually takes two to three weeks for credit to be approved due to the delays in receiving credit responses from trade references. Unless stated otherwise, payment is required in advance for all orders.

Ordering

First Order $300.00

Minimum 1kg per tea or $100.00CDN per order.

Invoicing

Invoices are enclosed with shipped orders unless otherwise instructed. A service charge of 2% per month will be assessed for past due accounts.

Shipping

Freight charges will be added to your invoice. The customer has the option of choosing their preferred method of shipping at the time of ordering. Please allow 72 hours from the receipt of your order for shipping. Please check for delivery costs at time of order.

For Orders $1000.00 and over we will pay for half the shipping.

Returns

Credit must be requested within 7 days of receipt of goods. Our authorization is required for any returns and, unless we are at fault in filling the order, returned merchandise is subject to a 15% restocking fee.
